Does that mean that one goes to the coil and still allows 12v during cranking i have 79 f150 that some has jacked up the wiring and pulled se of the pins the resistor wire was burned up so put in a resistor block out out on the fender to do.
Sounds like a loose nut. There are nuts that hold the wiper arms on, they may be under a cover depending on what your trying to do with wipers, i'd want to see voltage on the gray and or purple wire. Windscreen wiper with washer, headlamp wiper with washer. The feed from added lights to be controlled by the headlamp switch should be terminated in a male bullet connector and be connected to the female bullet.
